Our Story

Throughout my life I have always been inspired to draw whether it be doodling on blank pieces of paper, making caricature drawings of my family and friends or drawing still life pictures, I love to draw.  I believe this desire is a gift from God and in 2020 He gave me the time and inspiration to pick up a pen and notebook and start drawing again.  This “God Said” journey began in September 2020. In the quietness of my morning bible devotion, I started writing down the scripture and then sketching out what had been revealed to me through God’s Word.  In awe of God’s creation, I would sketch the beautiful scenery in front of me whether it be an incredible sunset, mountain range or waterfall.  The highlighted bible verse was then inspired by the drawing.  I now have over 300 drawings in multiple journals called my "scripture art doodles.”

After showing my journals to a few close friends and family, Janine and I started praying about how God would like to use my scripture art doodles to spread His Word. So about 2 years ago, I started posting them on social media with the heart of inspiring others with God's Word through my art.  It was encouraging to find out that many people from my past and present were responding positively to my daily post sharing God’s Word.

Due to people’s response to my daily post, Janine and I started praying again to see if there was another way to point the masses to the Word of God and Jesus!  Rather than posting my “scripture art doodles” just on social media each day we now have been led by the Lord to create a product line with my art and scripture writings. Hence the founding of our new company

“God Said.”

The name of our new company “God Said” was directly inspired by God.  After seeking Him, the name “God Said” came to Janine.  It is a perfect name for our new brand of products because we are simply proclaiming the Word of God through my scripture art doodles. Our foundation verse is:

2 Tim 3:16:  All scripture is breathed out by God.  

We are excited to partner up with you all by proclaiming the Word of God to the World through my scripture art doodles!
